Tesla Model 3 in the UK and Australia now seems to be coming from China
A rather startling appearance on the configurator in the UK seems to give some indication as to the provenance of Tesla Model 3 right-hand drive cars.
Indeed when we go to the English configurator the Tesla Model 3 now appears with the 2021 interior but also with the wood and aluminium insert in the doors.

This development seems logical. Indeed the two main countries that have right-hand drive are Australia and Great Britain. Tesla therefore seems to have made the choice to produce the Tesla Model 3 in the Shanghai factory, which is today the only factory to have this wood and aluminium insert in the doors.
The configurator in Australia is now identical and therefore seems to be evolving in the same direction. Tesla therefore seems to be rationalising the production of its vehicles with right-hand drive.

Now the question is about the evolution of design in the California factory. Indeed, this design evolution on the doors will soon be available at Fremont and therefore on all models, even with left-hand drive.
