Tesla’s CyberTruck unveiled in all its camouflaged glory

A camouflaged version of Tesla’s long-awaited Cybertruck was recently spotted in Palo Alto, California, once again attracting the attention of enthusiasts and fans alike. The sightings provided a closer look at the truck and sparked speculation about its likely final design, as did the images published on the CybertruckOwnersClub website. Tesla CEO Elon Musk commented on the video and shared his thoughts, furthering interest in the future electric truck.

Tesla has not traditionally used camouflage extensively on prototypes. This is mainly because Tesla is used to releasing prototypes that are fairly close to the final products. By contrast, other manufacturers often release early prototypes that undergo significant modifications before going into production.

The camouflaged Cybertruck is the talk of the town

Photos posted on the CybertruckOwnersClub forum and a video of the car leaving an In-N-Out drive-in have given a glimpse of what could be the Cybertruck’s final appearance. If Elon Musk’s comment in the video, “It’s a tradition” is anything to go by, this version could be very close to the final product.

Design changes and familiar features

The overall look of the Cybertruck has recently undergone some minor design changes, but it remains very close to the initial idea. The improvements are not radically different from what Elon Musk previously told Drive Tesla, and the camouflaged version shows this too. The Gigawiper, a key element of the Cybertruck, is still there, sporting its distinctive appearance.

Bold and futuristic

Unlike the Cybertruck’s round toy/steering wheel hybrid presented at Investor Day, the Cybertruck in disguise features a round steering wheel. The spherical steering wheel that was briefly seen in a recent Tesla Bot update video matches this background scene. These specifics will give customers a range of steering wheel choices when the car goes into production.

A wrapped cyber-truck

These observations also allow us to see a wrapped Cybertruck for the first time, giving us an idea of what the vehicle might look like in other shades. Although the Cybertruck’s stainless steel finish makes it a distinctive vehicle on the road, several potential owners have said they’d like to dress up their car in different colors since Tesla doesn’t offer paint options.

Speeding up the launch

Tesla’s latest update indicates that production of the Cybertruck will begin later this summer. Elon Musk intends to schedule a special delivery event at the end of the third quarter of this year. According to reports from Tesla suppliers, the company should complete the first Cybertruck release candidate by August 2023. The release sample is the final version before the official start of series production and the vehicle’s public debut.

Whatever the reason, there’s no doubt that the camouflage-covered Tesla Cybertruck has attracted a lot of attention. This can be seen in the images where people marvel at and take photos of the Cybertruck as it drives away from the In-N-Out Burger drive-in. Fans are eagerly awaiting the official unveiling of the Cybertruck and the chance to drive this revolutionary electric pickup, as Tesla prepares to manufacture it.
